£30A London Tango for Europe Day
To celebrate Europe day, we are pleased to invite you to join up with other pro Europeans.
Mirrored on the last night of the proms (#LNOP), this is an event where EU and Ukrainian flags will be warmly welcomed. Our international music cultures will be celebrated with a wide variety of music that will include Ode to Joy and God Save the Queen and the Ukrainian national anthem. Taking a cue from last year’s #LNOP we are giving you a concert with a tango theme!…. with guest stars – Tenor Alessandro Fisher (BBC New Generation winner)and Jazz/West End stars Joanna Strand (Phantom of the opera, Jekyll and Hyde etc) and Jaqcui Tate (les Miserables, My fair Lady, Evita etc)
Covid has kept so many of us away from events and activism, this is an awesome opportunity for music lovers to come and meet and socialise with old friends and wave and wear their EU colours as they wish. It’s on a Sunday afternoon and the venue is directly opposite the office of the EU with great pubs and restaurants all nearby, it’s a perfect day out.
